Bastian Mannerow

Biography

From 2017 to 2018, I trained as a photographer in the United Kingdom and completed the AS Qualification in Media & Photography, both with grade A. I still follow the guiding idea of my final project today: “Art does not reproduce the visible, but makes visible.” That thought continues to shape my work.

Since then, I have worked for a wide range of clients, from private weddings to brands such as EatSmarter, Cosori, FRoSTA and Veles. This also included projects for various clients funded by the European Union. Later, I trained as a drone pilot at the DJI ProFly Academy. Today, I hold the European remote pilot certificate and have since won several photography competitions.

Since 2020, I have been living in Lübeck and studying for a master’s degree with a focus on artificial intelligence and system modelling. Alongside that, I work on different projects, including a YouTube channel where I teach photography.
